Planting People will teach gardening techniques and some simple projects to make your backyard and small farms more productive and profitable. Facilitated by Dr. Shango Alamu, class activities will include how to set up an integrated farm, ecological crop management, craft use of plants, and establishing community skills banks and business approaches to empower and better organize self-help groups. Classes are located in Caura Valley, Saturdays 8 am – 12 noon.
Caribbean Yard Campus welcomes community- based organizations to register for special prices. All courses are open to the public, and there are no pre-requisites except for your curiosity and desire to learn more about some of our locally used Caribbean languages and traditional practices.
