Conversational Spanish classes are linked to a tour of Cuba; conversational Kweyol classes are linked to a tour of St Lucia; while the hands-on gardening classes take place in the hills of Caura.

NOU KA PALE PATWA (NOU KA ALE SENT LISI)
Learn some Trinidad patois as a living, culturally rich
member of a family of Caribbean languages.

VAMOS A CUBA
An introduction to Spanish language,
Cuban history, culture and cuisine.
This class can help people interested in visiting Cuba
for educational, medical, commercial, cultural or
purely recreational purposes.
Dates: Tuesday 3rd April to Saturday 23rd June
Times: Tues 10am – 12noon OR 5 – 7 pm, Sat 2 pm – 5 pm

PLANTING PEOPLE
Learn gardening techniques and some simple projects
to make your backyard more productive and delicious.
Activities will include how to set up an integrated farm,
ecological crop management, craft use of plants, and
establishing community skills banks and business approaches
to empower and better organize self-help groups.
