An introduction to traditional Caribbean drumming with a focus on Trinidad and Tobago. Basic drum techniques, rhythms and songs, both secular and sacred, will be taught.

On completion, participants should be able to perform on their own or accompany dancers and singers in selected traditional genres. 

Classes are on Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. between April 6 and June 22.
